Judicial Council Honors Rep. Paymar

ST. PAUL - The Judicial Council recently recognized State Representative Michael Paymar for his leadership in reducing projected cuts to the Judiciary. Chief Judge Eric Magnuson presented Paymar with the award at a ceremony attended by the chief judges from all of the judicial districts.

In accepting the award, Paymar said, "Despite the budget problems, we can't afford to short change public safety and it's critical that our courts are adequately funded. The citizenry expects nothing less."
